What's Going On at LDO This Christmas?

The London Designer Outlet in Wembley Park is looking to have a very busy, fun-filled time with or without the family this Christmas. Check out what’s going on at the LDO for Xmas 2015 here …

1. Enjoy North-West London’s Largest Ice Skating Rink

Ice skating - it’s fun, and is often made to look deceptively easy by some. Getting the basics down isn’t too difficult, though, so neither adult nor child should be afraid to come and have a go along with the 27,000-odd others who’ll be skating here between the 20th November 2015 and 3rd January 2016. Smirking from the sidelines is acceptable, but only if you’ve paid the dues by strapping on a pair of skates and falling over on the ice as well.

2. Come See LDO’s First Ever Christmas Tree!

Over 3,000 Xmas tree lights will be lighting up LDO’s retail square this Christmas. Of course, they’re not lights hung around retail square willy-nilly! They will be hung up on our very first Christmas Tree! So why not come down, grab a coffee (or maybe even a mulled wine), and gather with a few loved ones to see one of LDO’s most special moments.

3. Experience the Magic of Our Traditional Funfair

Do you remember your first ever ride at a funfair? Perhaps, perhaps not - it depends what age you were first taken; and if you were never taken (*sob* poor you), then let us at LDO make a Christmas miracle and bring you and your kids their first ever traditional funfair! Complete with helter skelter, carousel, big wheel, teacups, cotton candy, and games.

4. Tell Santa Your Christmas Wish List …

… And potentially win a London Designer Outlet Gift Card giving you the chance to splurge £200 at one of our many stores. Four runners up will get £50 gift vouchers. All you have to do is tell Santa your top three things you’d like from LDO this Christmas and pop your entry into our LDO Wish List Christmas Postbox. The form is available here.

There is also the chance to win a Family Day Out prize - four cinema tickets and a £100 meal voucher - if you post a photo of yourself on Twitter or Instagram using #LDOwishlist and #dearsanta.

Entries for this competition close on 20th December 2015. Don’t be late!

5. Donate to Charity and Get Your Gifts Wrapped at the Same Time

Should you find wrapping your gifts a bit of a chore, or you’ve bought something that is awkward to wrap, then come get them wrapped at LDO’s very own igloo. There is a charge, but be rest assured that we’re not curmudgeonly Scrooges - all money raised goes to charity!

6. Grab Some Grub at the Festive Food Market

Whether you want some delicacies to take home with you or or to tuck into some amazing Christmas comfort food whilst you shop for your presents, the Festive Food Market in Wembley Park ought to sate your desires. Held between Thursdays and Sundays, 20th November 2015 to 20th December 2015, and with some of the best produce UK-wide, this is a foodie’s paradise.

So, all-in-all, lots to do in Wembley Park and the London Designer Outlet. Come and have a merry Christmas with us at LDO.
