Pounds for dream playparks - Make a Wish with Peter Andre

By London Designer Outlet

National Treasure, singer, reality show king and presenter, Peter Andre will be opening the new children’s play park whilst making a special appearance at London Designer Outlet this Saturday. So, if you’re heading down this bank holiday weekend to for some retail therapy at London’s best destination for outlet shopping, boutique eating and drinking then pay a visit to see Pete at the new children’s play park.

The former ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here’ contestant who captured the heart of millions with his international hit ‘Mysterious Girl’ and Celebrity Dad of the year 2011 will be cutting the ribbon and unveiling the new family fun children’s play park, at the only outlet centre in the capital.

The new play park is a must visit attraction with everything from roundabouts to seesaws, a replica of the old Wembley Stadium Twin Towers, a rope bridge, climbing net and for those braves enough, a slide on the third floor to the bottom.

Designs for donations

Pete will also be launching a new charity initiative with ‘Make- A-Wish- UK, a charity that grants magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions – for our part, we will be donating £1 per entry in support. A family-day-out prize is up for grabs, and the competition gives kids the chance to submit a drawing of their dream playground.  Mega Slide anyone?

Pete commented: “We love a family day out, so the kids and I are really looking forward to opening the London Designer Outlet Play Park and then going for a bite to eat and outlet shopping.”

So, tell your kids to get their sketching pads out and submit their creative, imaginative ideas, as every drawing submitted gets a pound to the Make-A-Wish- UK.  They just need to show us what their dream playpark would look like. The competition opens to the public on Tuesday so check back for more information next week. See you there!
